Wasn't going to say it, but rather than residency, perhaps you should chat to your employer about the prospect of becoming a resident 'Aunty Seraphic' for LSN, if that still holds any interest? You could bribe young adults and teens at your local parish to keep yourself up to date with latest trends and jargon.
I only suggest it as it could be somewhat more positive and uplifting (helping others with sound advice pertinent to living the Christian faith) than trawling clerical sex scandals and all that. That latter type of writing would depress anyone.
It could be a growing way to connect to young Christians who struggle to find anyone to ask about integrating their faith and morals with dating, marriage, jobs and all that.
